Although I enjoy babbling about SEO and whatnot, I'm also here to promote my projects. Right now I'm working on a great doll price guide. I have a steady supply of fantastic unique pictures, descriptions and prices for dolls. Today I'd like to point you to the Madame Alexander Price Guide.
Thanks for stopping by!

Adsense & Youtube.
I've never really looked into the adsense/youtube video ads. So now I'm gonna tri it out and see how it all works. I've added keywords for my favorite band, some SEO related stuff, knol and.. I forgot what else Why don't you watch? Maybe you'll even see something good. Or maybe not.

WTF do I knol?
Google's Knol seems like something to look at. Are these knols going to rank #1 in Google for a lot of terms? The unanswered question is, will the "reference" links use a nofollow tag like Wikipedia? Without an answer to that question, it's hard to know what to make of the whole thing.

Selling your wares
The company I worked for drop-shipped. They had some nice (and some not so nice) stuff, and marked it up considerably. Lots of people apparently buy it too, all just because of SEO. That's crazy.
We've had an eBay business for years, but we're interested in the new Google product search and Google checkout. So we registered a new domain today where we plan to build our new Collectible items store.
Hopefully with Google Base and (really) unique items SEO won't be the most important thing. But I'm still going to experiment.

Does anybody know how the internets work?
So, I mentioned the job I had in a previous post. I don't want to say that word (s-word) again for today. I think the strange thing is coming to realize that nobody at the company actually even really knew how the internet works. Apparently not one single employee even knew HTML. I was bewildered. But they DID rank. So....
Do people know how the internet works? I mean, I do and I just figured it out myself, so I assume there are thousands of people everywhere who went to school for this who must know more than me, right? I know my HTML CSS PHP and MySQL and I more or less know how to make the internets, is this actually a valuable or rare skill?
Seeing that company thrive with no comprehension of the technology made me feel like it might be a rare skill, but may not really be necessary... Anybody know?
Now to be irritatingly un-relating (yet so right on topic). Here be my links from delicious. Deal with it!

delicious
The delicious bookmarking site is strange. I guess it seems like a more interesting social networking idea than myspace, but it still seems to be pretty useless as a mass effort. Links! neat!
Seems like a good thing to exploit for SEO purposes. Hey, neat. I just got a great idea for this blog.
I worked for a "major SEO" (according to them, but they DO rank). And, well.... let's just say it's not what I expected, but now see that I should have known all along. Just look at the damn internet.
More another day
